Things got even worse for the Spartans in an already rough situation on Saturday afternoon.

Michigan State starting quarterback Aidan Chiles left the game in the third quarter with an injury. Chiles was hit by a Hoosiers defender and remained on the ground after the play. It was unclear at the time of this post what the injury that Chiles suffered was, but he went straight to the locker room following the play.

Chiles eventually returned to the sidelines, but never went back into the game.

Chiles has started all nine games for the Spartans this year. He left the game with Michigan State down 30-10 vs. Indiana.
