Michigan State men’s basketball releases official 2024-25 non-conference schedule

Michigan State basketball has released its official non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

The Spartans will unofficially tip off the season with an exhibition game at Northern Michigan on October 13. That will be a special game for Spartans head coach Tom Izzo, who will be returning to where he played his college ball.

Michigan State will play one more exhibition game against Ferris State on October 29 at home before officially starting the season on November 4 against Monmouth at the Breslin Center.

Some of the more notable games on the Spartans’ non-conference schedule are against Kansas on November 12 in the Champions Classic, three games in the Maui Invitational the week of Thanksgiving and a home game against Florida Atlantic on December 21.
