MSU Hockey beats Wisconsin in OT thriller at Wrigley Field

MSU Hockey wins a thrilling overtime game against Wisconsin on Saturday night from Wrigley Field in Chicago

Michigan State hockey made a memorable event even better on Saturday night thanks to some late-game heroics from Daniel Russell.

Russell scored with 1.4 seconds left in overtime to lift the Spartans over Wisconsin in Saturday night’s Frozen Confines outdoor game from Wrigley Field. Michigan State blew a late lead but was able to still come out on top in the thrilling overtime win.

Michigan State completed the weekend sweep of the Badgers with the win on Saturday night. The Spartans had to come from behind in a home game against the Badgers on Thursday.

Michigan State should remain No. 1 in the country in Monday’s updated rankings following the strong weekend of play.
