Michigan State football hosted New Mexico running back transfer Eli Sanders on an official visit to open up transfer portal season. While things went well on the visit, the two parties have gone in different directions.
Michigan State picked up the commitment of Sacramento State RB transfer Elijah Tau-Tolliver yesterday, and today, Sanders is off the board. The New Mexico RB transfer has committed to USC.
The Spartans most likely will still be looking for one more RB transfer, with UCLA transfer TJ Harden still on the board.
