Michigan State football added another wide receiver via the transfer portal on Saturday night.
Central Michigan transfer wide receiver Evan Boyd announced his commitment to the Spartans on Saturday. Boyd made the commitment known via a post on social media platform X.
Boyd is from East Lansing, Mich. and played on season for the Chippewas before entering the portal last month. In his one season for Central Michigan in 2024, he recorded 21 receptions for 302 yards and two touchdowns.
Boyd is the third wide receiver that Michigan State has added via the transfer portal this offseason. He will contend for a spot in the starting lineup next season.
