Michigan State enters this road matchup on a five-game losing streak. The Spartans are 2-5 overall and haven’t won a game since early September when former head coach Mel Tucker was still with the program.

Minnesota enters this game with some momentum following a narrow victory over Iowa on Saturday. The Golden Gophers are 4-3 overall and in contention for winning the Big Ten West Division for the first time in program history.
