Michigan State football has officially hired its next quarterbacks coach.
Jon Boyer was officially named as the next Michigan State quarterbacks coach on Monday. It was reported last week that Boyer would be hired by the Spartans, and it was made official by the program on Monday.
Boyer spent six years with Jonathan Smith as a quality control coach before being elevated into the tight ends coach position last season. Before that, he spent six seasons as the offensive coordinator at Northern Colorado.
