The transfer portal is officially open and numerous Spartans are heading into it.
Michigan State defensive back Philipp Davis is one of the latest Spartans to enter the transfer portal. Spartans Illustrated reported the portal entry for Davis on Monday.
The transfer portal officially opened on Monday, which has resulted in players across the country seeking new opportunities via the portal.
Davis was a three-star prospect in the 2023 class. He redshirted last season and this year he didn’t appear to play in any games for Michigan State.
According to @SpartansRivals, MSU DB Philipp Davis has entered the portal. Davis was a 3⭐️ in the 2023 class, but did not see the field for the Spartans. Reflecting on the season, I do not recall seeing him travel or dressed at home games (injury, perhaps)
