Michigan State basketball will return to Madison Square Garden next month.
The Spartans officially announced on Tuesday that their originally scheduled road game against Rutgers on January 25 will now be played at Madison Square Garden in New York City. It was reported before the season that this schedule update would occur but it was not made official until this week.
The game will tip off at 1:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on CBS.
Michigan State and Rutgers last played each other at Madison Square Garden in 2023. The Scarlet Knights came out on top in that matchup.
