Anderson has had a great first year in Logan for the Aggies after spending the previous season at North Idaho College as a first-team all-NWAC selection. Prior to his time with the Cardinals he spent the 2016-2017 season as a redshirt freshman at Montana in the Big Sky. His production has dipped as of late but was a key piece of Utah State’s non-conference run. Playing big minutes in the post during Neemias Queta’s absence alongside Justin Bean averaging 12.5 PPG and 5.4 RPG in that time.
9. KJ Feagin, Redshirt senior guard (GS) San Diego State

Feagin was a scoring machine during his time at Santa Clara in the WCC, scoring over 1,172 points and averaging 14.5 PPG in his career as a Bronco. His role with the Aztecs hasn’t been as leading scorer but his presence in the their starting line up cannot be understated. He like a couple of other Aztec’s on this list are key reasons why San Diego State currently enjoys a top-ranking and undefeated season.
8. Zane Martin, Redshirt junior guard New Mexico

Zane Martin came to New Mexico as a walking bucket from the Towson Tigers program. But the Philadelphia, PA native has seen ups and downs during his time in Albuquerque, especially after a very promising start. But with the absence of four of New Mexico’s top six scorers Martin like other’s has stepped up and attempted to help the team limp to the conference tournament anxiously awaiting the return of some teammates.
7. Abu Kigab, junior forward Boise State

Kigab has been just what the doctor ordered in Boise, as a credible scoring option alongside Derrick Alston Jr., Justinian Jessup and RJ Williams. The Broncos are only more dangerous with him on the court and after coming over from Oregon in the PAC-12 where he was seldom used, he is now a key part of Boise State’s rotation and scoring attack.
6. Elijah Mitrou-Long, Redshirt senior guard (GS) UNLV

Mitrou-Long is well traveled, but is finding success in his third division-I stop after spending time at Mt. St. Mary’s in the NEC and most recently at Texas in the Big 12. He had a solid role with the Long Horns in 17.9 minutes a game but seemed a bit suffocated in the Texas backcourt depth chart. He’s found a role with the Runnin’ Rebels but missed eight weeks with a broken left thumb. He returned for UNLV’s Jan. 26th game at home against San Diego State.
