Cincinnati Bengals fans know all too well Carlos Dunlap is one of the most underrated players in the NFL.
Dunlap, a second-round pick in 2010, has consistently harassed opposing quarterbacks — both via getting pressure and being one of the league’s best at swatting down passes at the line of scrimmage.
So much so, Dunlap’s in contention for franchise records with his 81.5 sacks and has an incredible 58 passes defensed for his career to date. Last year alone, he put up another nine sacks with eight passes defensed.
Pro Football Focus just tallied another impressive stat that speaks to Dunlap’s skill, placing him alongside a superstar like J.J. Watt:

Only 31 years old, Dunlap hasn’t really shown any signs of slowing down now. The fact he’s still plugging away — even in a new system last year — is a good sign for the team’s trajectory now that Dunlap will have some new faces with him on the field in 2020.
