More kickoff times and networks announced for Auburn’s 2022 schedule

We now have the network designations and kickoff times for the first three games of the year.

It is time to start diving into the schedules for the upcoming 2022 college football season for the Auburn Tigers.

Recently CBS Sports announced the mid-afternoon kickoff for the Penn State-Auburn return game in their home and home series. Fans who don’t attend the game can watch the game on CBS.

According to Tom Green of AL.com, the first two games now have their kickoff times and which network they will air on. The second year of the Bryan Harsin era will begin with a night game on the Plains.

Auburn will open the season Sept. 3 at Jordan-Hare Stadium against FCS foe Mercer. That game will kick off at 6 p.m. and will air on ESPN+/SEC Network+. A week later, San Jose State will visit the Plains on Sept. 10 for a 6:30 p.m. showdown. That game will be broadcast on ESPNU.

An early look at each game (all game times are set for central):

  • Sept. 3 vs Mercer: 6 p.m. on ESPN+/SEC Network+
  • Sept. 10 vs San Jose State: 6:30 p.m. on ESPNU
  • Sept. 17 vs Penn State: 2:30 p.m. on CBS
