More former, current Celtics at the center of new Game of Zones short

Yet again, current and former Boston Celtics figure prominently in the latest episode of the popular parody short “Game of Zones”.

Boston Celtics fans following the “Game of Zones” series of NBA-themed “Game of Thrones” parody that has taken on a life of its own are in for a double-helping this week, with an exceptionally long installment being released.

Imaginatively entitled “The Long Episode”, it has a strong showing of current and former Celtic characters yet again, with Doc Rivers taking control of the Media Dell-elected answer to the undead Dream Team, and Rick Carlisle serving as one of his assistant generals.

There’s also Jayson Tatum reprising his role as one of the principal Knights of the Round Ball, but the coup de grace is pitting Kyrie Irving in a undermine the defense of the Realm out of spite for not being included among the Round Ball elite and his general distaste for the media.

Watch the video yourself to catch all the Bostonian cameos within — and try not to get teary-eyed when a certain Celtics nemesis makes an unannounced appearance as well.

You’ll know him by the haircut.
