A matchup between two international light heavyweights is the latest addition to the UFC’s Oct. 17 event.

Australia’s [autotag]Jimmy Crute[/autotag] (11-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) will face Lithuanian [autotag]Modestas Bukauskas[/autotag] (11-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC) in a battle of rising prospects at 205 pounds. No location or name designation has been announced for the event at this time.

After suffering his first career pro loss to Misha Cirkunov last September, Crute rebounded with a first-round submission of Michal Oleksiejczuk at UFC on ESPN+ 26 that earned him a “Performance of the Night” bonus. The Contender Series graduate has finished all three of his UFC wins to date.

Former Cage Warriors light heavyweight champion Bukauskas made good in his UFC debut, stopping fellow newcomer Andreas Michailidis at UFC on ESPN 13 in Abu Dhabi.

With the addition, the current Oct. 17 lineup includes:

  • Poliana Botelho vs. Gillian Robertson
  • Krzysztof Jotko vs. Makhmud Muradov
  • Modestas Bukauskas vs. Jimmy Crute
