Mock trade has Nets trading Cam Johnson and picks for Karl-Anthony Towns

The Brooklyn Nets have a lot to think about with the 2023 NBA Draft less than a week away. As it customary for this time of the NBA calendar, there are numerous mock trades being proposed left and right to try to make every team better in the process.

For the Nets, given the fact that the Houston Rockets have control over most of their draft picks for the next few seasons, it makes more sense to try to win as much as possible and hope to win a title. To do that, Brooklyn has to find a way to build around their best players like wing Mikal Bridges and center Nic Claxton.

If the Nets are planning to trade for a star-level player, Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard is probably the primary target for Brooklyn.
