Mock Draft Watch: Touchdown Wire gives the Browns 3 rounds of defense

4 picks in 3 rounds and it’s all on defense

It is the most wonderful time of the year and our friends at Touchdown Wire are bringing the heat with their latest three round mock draft. This one sees the Cleveland Browns adding some serious defensive help. Check out the Cleveland selections:

#26- Trevon Moehrig, S, TCU:

Moehrig was an impactful player for TCU the past two seasons and has the potential to fill a starting role immediately with Cleveland as he is elite in coverage and capable in the run game.

#59- Jabril Cox, LB, LSU:

The graduate transfer from North Dakota State did not disappoint in his lone SEC season displaying the athleticism and unique explosion that can make him an immediate starter.

#89- Victor Dimukeje, Edge, Duke:

Dimukeje is a disruptive pass rusher that even flourished against constant double teams while playing in the ACC. Seeing two defenders consistently in college should prepare him for the next level.

#91- Osa Odighizuwa, DL, UCLA;

Odighizuwa was used across the entire defensive line while at UCLA and has the freaky athleticism to replicate that in the NFL. He has proven the be an effective pass rusher from both the inside and outside.

The Browns need a lot of youth and depth all over the defense and this mock draft checks those boxes. Moehrig is becoming a very popular projection for the Browns’ first pick and this one is no exception.
