The San Antonio Spurs like Rob Dillingham. That’s what all of the recent rumblings have indicated. And according to reports, the Kentucky guard likes the idea of playing for the Spurs, too. In a recent NBA mock draft written by Brian Lewis of the New York Post, the Spurs picked up Dillingham with the eighth overall pick.
“Measured as small as 6-1, he won’t bring size or wingspan,” Lewis wrote. “But Dillingham will definitely bring outside shooting. He’s a walking bucket and showed that in Lexington. If he can continue to develop his playmaking, he could be a nice asset for San Antonio and Wembanyama, who will need point guard help.”
Adding Dillingham’s ball handling and shot creation would help the Spurs’ offense, and if he can develop great chemistry with Victor Wembanyama, San Antonio would be in a great spot moving forward.
The only question is, will Dillingham be available at the eighth pick?
