MMA’s week out of the cage: Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov get on the same page

Check out the best social media posts from fighters and their lives outside of the cage in the past week.

Social media has become a significant part of the sporting landscape. But few, if any, professional sports match the level of interaction and personal access provided by MMA.

In an individual competition in which nearly every athlete is chasing the same goal of financial success and championship glory, it’s important for fighters to provide insight into their lives in order to connect with fans and gain followings.

Although the life of a fighter often can be mundane and repetitive, there still are moments of interest that take place outside the cage, ring or training room. Here are some of the most interesting of those occurrences from the past week.

Meals today so far. #1 Homemade chicken bone broth ramen with thin sliced cabbage for noodle substitute and soft boiled eggs. #2 Grass-Fed lamb chops and steam-fried sweet potatoes. All organic to reduce toxins. People always ask me about diets and start telling me what they added to their meals or ask what they should add to there diet. Believe it or not most people don’t need to add anything. They need a reduction diet which is reduce the amount SAD CRAP you eat and eat a variety of whole plant foods processed down by your very own hands. Eat wild or organically raised meats and eggs. What is SAD CRAP? Standard American Diet Carbohydrates Refined sugars Additives Preservatives Your brain 🧠 is the fattiest organ in the body. It needs fat to run but also needs carbs to rebuild. Eating organic also insures a reduction in toxins that will get in the blood stream and impact mental and physical performance. Make sure those carbs are low glycemic like cabbage 🥬 or sweet potatoes 🍠 or else you might get a spike of energy and then crash until you fill up on more sad crap or caffeine. Eat good, feel good!! Eat crap, feel crap!! Holistic Health is not rocket surgery but it does take some attention to detail if you want to heal with each meal. Saying a quick prayer also can help food be more healing. Eating in a stressful mental state or stressed out environment can have negative effects on digestion’s. Playing some calming music or eating outside in nature can help with the setting. #food #foodporn #tlgmma #chekhlc1 #holistic #diet #nutrition #tysongriffin #coach #chekholisticlifestylecoach
