It might still be February, but as far as the baseball calendar is concerned, it’s the start of spring out there.
Well, spring training, at least. With the football season over, MLB season is officially picking up and pitchers and catchers are already begin reporting to camp.
That includes Shohei Ohtani, who is already mashing home runs in a Los Angeles Dodgers jersey just five months after Tommy John surgery. There’s even a possibility he’ll be able to serve as a designated hitter by Opening Day!
If that’s not motivating players to get camp early, nothing will. But just in case the pros want to soak up as much of their winter vacation as possible, here’s a look at when each team is required to report to spring training.
