It may feel a little early to power rank Major League Baseball teams in April.
But we’re starting to get a feel for where these teams are at as we head into May.
There are some surprises here (did we really expect the Boston Red Sox to be leading the American League East? Or for the Kansas City Royals to be ahead in the AL Central? Or that the New York Yankees would be kind of mediocre out of the gate?), and because there’s some good and bad to talk about with all 30 teams, I’ll highlight good news and bad news for each squad:
