LSU quarterback Myles Brennan had his best game yet, completing 29 of 48 passes for 430 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions. However, it wasn’t enough as LSU’s defense had no answer for Missouri’s redshirt freshman quarterback Connor Bazelak.

Bazelak, making his first start this season, completed 29 of 34 passes for 406 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Larry Rountree III rushed for 119 yards for Missouri.

LSU junior receiver Terrace Marshall caught 11 passes for 235 yards and three touchdowns in the loss.

At 1-2, LSU next heads to No. 4 Florida next week to face the Gators, who suffered their first loss of the season to Texas A&M on Saturday.
