A featherweight matchup is the latest addition to the UFC’s Sep. 26 event.
The promotion has added [autotag]Mirsad Bektic[/autotag] vs. [autotag]Eduardo Garagorri[/autotag] to the event’s lineup. No location or name designation has been announced for the event at this time.
Both Bektic (13-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) and Garagorri (13-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) recently confirmed the booking on social media after an initial report by MMA Fighting.
Bektic is on his first career losing skid and is coming off back-to-back losses to Josh Emmett and Dan Ige. Prior to that, he was 6-1 in the UFC, including a win over Ricardo Lamas at UFC 225.
After picking up a unanimous decision win over Humberto Bandenay in his UFC debut, Uruguay’s Garagorri suffered his first career blemish last November in a first-round submission loss to Ricardo Ramos.
With the addition, the current Sep. 26 lineup includes:
