Minnesota Vikings uniforms rank No. 11 in power rankings

Minnesota ranked behind two teams in the NFC North on Touchdown Wire’s uniform power rankings.

The Vikings have a long-lasting identity with the color purple, and that helped them be in the top half of Touchdown Wire’s uniform rankings.

Minnesota is ranked No. 11 on the list. The team released a “Primetime Purple” jersey in 2019, and it also tweaked the helmet color slightly in 2019.

Two NFL teams that released new uniforms this week are both behind Minnesota in the Touchdown Wire power rankings. The Falcons ranked No. 21 and the Buccaneers ranked right behind the Vikings at No. 12.

Here’s what the outlet had to say about the Vikings:

“The Minnesota Vikings created an image around the color purple and it remains with the team. The look may have been modernized and stylized through time but it stands the test.”

The only NFC North team that the Vikings ranked ahead of were the Bears, which came in at No. 29. The Packers ranked ahead of the Vikings at No. 10. The Lions were second.

The Chargers were the No. 1 team in the ranks.
