The Minnesota Vikings are set to take on the Denver Broncos Saturday night at 8 pm central time.
Going into the game, there was still speculation on whether the Vikings would play their starters. Head coach Kevin O’Connell was non-committal earlier this week on the subject.
Going into the game, we have our answer as the Vikings will be sitting 33 players, including all 22 starters.

This shouldn’t be much of a surprise, as the Vikings starters played in just two series in the first game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
It does look like we will see the Minnesota Vikings debut of Nick Mullens, as he isn’t listed on the inactive list.
Also worth noting that even after the speculation that Mattison could be a roster cut next week, him not playing should be a signal that his status on the roster is relatively safe.
Saturday’s game is all about the depth of this team and giving them time to play and earn a roster spot on this team.
