Minnesota Viking legend John Randle attends Democratic National Convention

John Randle, a former Viking and Pro Football Hall of Famer, was part of the Minnesota Delegation at the Democratic National Convention.

The Democratic National Convention is going on this week in the city of the Chicago Bears. A team that has had it’s fair share of battles with the Minnesota Vikings, and one particular player has been a thorn in their side found himself back in the Windy City.

John Randle, a former Viking and Pro Football Hall of Famer, was part of the Minnesota Delegation at the Democratic National Convention. He, alongside Senator Amy Klobuchar and former student of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, announced the state giving the Kamala Harris and Walz ticket their votes for the Democratic Nominee.

Minnesota and even the Vikings have been mentioned several times as the state’s Governor campaigns for the Vice Presidency. Seeing John Randle front and center shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone at this point.

Randle was one of several celebrities and notable citizens from each state and territory at the Convention’s role call. Several others were present as they worked through the votes, but Randle stood out as the lone member of the NFL, or its Hall of Fame.
