Timberwolves at Nuggets: Odds, betting lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Nuggets 126, Timberwolves 103
Money line (ML)
Denver is just 2-4 on the season despite making the Western Conference Finals last year. The Nuggets beat Minnesota two days ago. It’s pretty clear the Nuggets are the better team and should have no problem winning back-to-back games against the Timberwolves without Towns.
We just can’t bet a team at -625. PASS and look to the spread for proper value.
Against the spread (ATS)
The Nuggets are double-digit favorites but there is no reason to suggest Minnesota can keep this game close. Without Towns, the offense is among the worst in the NBA and the defense can’t stop anyone. There will be moments in this game where it might be close, but expect the Nuggets to pull away late and cover this spread.
Take the NUGGETS -10.5 (-110).
Over/Under (O/U)
Denver’s offense is out to a hot start, averaging 116.0 points per game. Minnesota’s defense won’t offer much resistance and both teams should be able to score well into the 100s. In fact, don’t be surprised if the Nuggets score well into the 120s as their offense has a ton of firepower.
Take the OVER 226.5 (-110).
