Bucks at Raptors picks and predictions
Prediction
Bucks 116, Raptors 111
Moneyline
PASS.
I see a bounce-back win for the Bucks (-300) on Monday night in Toronto, but it won’t come easy. I am looking to take my wager to the spread with the Raptors (+240).
Against the spread
BET RAPTORS +7.5 (-115).
The Bucks may have beaten the Raptors by double digits earlier this season, but that was in Milwaukee. On the road, it’s a different story. They’re just 6-9 away from home with a -2.2 point differential.
Antetokounmpo struggled in that first meeting, and Milwaukee’s road woes have been consistent. They’ve lost 5 straight as road favorites following a home loss and have struggled against weaker teams, including losses to the Brooklyn Nets and Portland Trail Blazers.
Adding to the challenge, the Bucks are at a rest disadvantage, playing Saturday while the Raptors have been off since Friday with no travel. Milwaukee has also failed to cover in their last 6 road games on shorter rest.
Expect the Bucks to scrape out a win, but it’s unlikely to be the double-digit margin they enjoyed in their last matchup. This game should stay much closer.
Over/Under
BET UNDER 230.5 (-110).
The Under has hit in the last 2 matchups between these teams, including their earlier meeting this season. Milwaukee has leaned heavily Under, cashing in 7 of their last 10 games and all 5 games as favorites following a home loss.
Toronto hasn’t been much different, going 2-1-1 against the Under in their last 4.
Milwaukee averages 112.3 points per game while holding opponents to 111.2, which matches Toronto’s scoring average.
This game sets up as a grind. Expect slow pacing, tough defense, and plenty of missed shots, making the Under a strong play.
