The Milwaukee Bucks (11-3) visit the City of Brotherly Love and the Philadelphia 76ers (7-7) Friday. Tip-off from Wells Fargo Center is set for 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPN). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Bucks vs. 76ers odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.
The Bucks come into this game after picking up a blowout 113-98 win Wednesday vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers. C Brook Lopez carried the load offensively with 29 points on 10 of 13 shooting. He was just one of five Bucks players who scored in double figures.
Milwaukee picked up the victory despite committing more turnovers and shooting around the same percentages from both the floor (47.7% to the Cavs’ 42.9%) and from three (41.0% to the Cavs’ 42.9%).
The 76ers are coming off a big 105-98 win vs. the Utah Jazz Sunday. C Joel Embiid scored a career-high 59 points on 19 of 28 shooting and 20 of 24 from the free throw line to lead the team. The only other player to score in double figures, G Tyrese Maxey, put up 18 points. The 76ers shot a tremendously bad 17.4% from beyond the arc and lost the rebound battle by 11 (50-39).

Bucks at 76ers picks and predictions
Prediction
Bucks 105, 76ers 100
Moneyline
BET BUCKS (+100).
The Bucks should win this game. The matchup of F Giannis Antetokoumpo and Embiid is always a fun one to watch, but the Bucks are simply the better team. Even with all the injuries plaguing this Milwaukee squad right now, it’s much more well-put-together and is on a hotter streak than Philadelphia.
BET BUCKS +1.5 (-115)
Assuming the Bucks win this game then the spread should be very safe. Expect this game to be close but not so close as to where it will take a game-winning shot. Both teams have phenomenal defenses but this game will hinge on whether Giannis or Embiid has the better game, and whose supporting cast helps them the most — and that will be Milwaukee.
Over/Under
BET UNDER 212.5 (-115).
This is your best bet for this game.
Both the Bucks and the 76ers are top 4 in the NBA in terms of points allowed per game, and both are bottom 15 in points scored per game. Many people believe that the Bucks’ offense will be better when all of their shooters are healthy, but as of right now their offense looks mediocre. The 76ers offense, and the team as a whole, is very top-heavy and if Embiid and Maxey don’t have great games then neither will the team, and that is especially true with Harden out.
