There isn’t an NBA fan in the world who would deny how great of a scorer Steph Curry is. The Golden State Warriors star is arguably the greatest shooter in the history of the league, and his shiftiness allows him to get open in the lane when he wants to attack the rim.

During a recent interview, New York Knicks sophomore guard Miles McBride revealed that part of what makes Curry such a difficult matchup is that he is far stronger than most people believe. McBride noted that Curry’s strength is important to his game, making knocking him off balance difficult.

The thing with Steph is – one, he’s strong,” McBride said. “Way stronger than people think,” McBride said. “You can’t knock him off balance. Like that’s obviously a part of the reason he’s such a great shooter… I think he’s also just seen every possible type of defense,” McBride said. “So, when I was guarding him, I could just see him reading how I’m guarding him, so he already knows how the rest of the defense is guarding him or vice versa.”
