After a 3-0 record to start the 2021-22 NBA season, Hornets forward Miles Bridges was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for Week 1.
In Week 1, Bridges averaged 25 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2.7 steals while shooting 54.2% from the floor and 44.4% from 3-point range, which included back-to-back 30-point performances in Charlotte’s last two games.
This marks the first time that Bridges has received the honor as he was one of just five players to have multiple 30-point games in the opening week.
