There have been no shortage of rumors and speculation that Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel may want out of Nashville after this season following what has been a very disappointing campaign.
Much of the talk about Vrabel possibly departing centers around a possible rift between himself and first-year general manager, Ran Carthon.
However, during his presser on Wednesday, Vrabel made it clear his intent is to stay with the team in 2024.
“Of course I want to be here,” Vrabel said, per Jim Wyatt. “Be here as long as we can win and as long as we can do this thing. It’s been great, but it’s also been just frustrating this year. Nobody wants to be where we’re at.”
In the last 24 hours, four media members (of varying degrees of respectability) bring up #Titans HC Mike Vrabel being traded, wanting out, and/or on unstable ground with Ran Carthon.

When asked if he’s addressed some of the rumors and speculation with his players, Vrabel said he hasn’t and stressed not believing everything we see on social media and elsewhere.
“I don’t (have to address the rumors with the team) because, again, if we believed everything that’s on social media, it would be Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy and all that,” he said, per John Glennon of Nashville Post.
“I really have never responded to any of those and we’re not going to start now. I know where we’re at as an organization and I’m exicted to build this thing and fix this thing and get it to where we want it to be, to win championships with (general manager) Ran (Carthon) and (assistant GM) Chad (Brinker) and the coaching staff and everybody. That’s what our goal is. But, no, the social media and where that is, I can’t focus on that.”

Of course, Vrabel would never admit he wants out, but all we can do for now is take him at his word. However, there has been more than enough smoke about him possibly wanting to leave to not completely write it off.
