The Philadelphia 76ers will officially get back to work on Saturday night when they take on the Indiana Pacers in their restart opener. One thing for certain is big man Joel Embiid will play after missing the team’s final two scrimmage openers. However, they will still be shorthanded.
The team will still be missing key rotational piece Glenn Robinson III to a left hip pointer injury suffered in their second scrimmage game and now they will be missing Mike Scott as well. The gritty veteran will miss the game with right knee soreness and that will put a dent into coach Brett Brown’s rotation.
Raul Neto, who missed the final two scrimmage games with lower back tightness, will return and is available for the game.

This is an important game for the Sixers in terms of seeding as both teams are currently tied for the 5 seed in the East. Indiana holds the tiebreaker after winning two of the first three matchups and that puts pressure on Philadelphia in this one. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. EST in Orlando.
