That timeouts rollover to the second half like phone minutes? As he burned two of his second-half timeouts in the third and early fourth quarter, we’re going with the “rollover minutes” theory.
We have absolutely no clue what was on McCarthy’s mind. We do know that he has a long history of mangling the clock.
