Mike Florio see the Bucs being a fit for Bill Belichick

Despite Todd Bowles’s four-game win streak and the NFC South lead, rumblings continue surrounding his job security.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had their ups and downs this year in terms of wins and losses, but they haven’t been healthy. Those ups and downs, though, have some folks curious if the Bucs will make a change at head coach if they don’t make a deep playoff run.

Despite Todd Bowles’s four-game win streak and the NFC South lead, rumblings continue surrounding his job security.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk suggests that the team may “push” for Todd Bowles’s retirement as they did for Bruce Arians. Florio says that Belichick is a fit for the team and that it is one of the few teams that makes sense for the future Hall of Fame coach.

Florio finishes the idea with Bill Belichick, who is not a popular name in coaching circles as an option. The Bucs have shown an affinity for older coaches or coaches with previous head coaching experience, and he fits that.

Going to be an interesting couple of weeks for the Bucs and Todd Bowles.
