Mics picked up Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff’s classy exchange after Rams-Lions game

It was all class between Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff after Sunday’s game, with Stafford telling Goff to “go win it all”

Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff will forever be linked thanks to the blockbuster trade from 2021 that caused the two to swap teams: Stafford to the Rams and Goff to the Lions. That’s what made Sunday’s playoff matchup such a special one for both quarterbacks, with Stafford returning to Detroit and Goff facing his former team.

After the Lions’ narrow 24-23 win, Stafford and Goff shared a couple of cool moments together on the field during the postgame handshakes. Mics from “Inside the NFL” caught what was said by each quarterback and it was as classy as you’d expect from both Stafford and Goff.

“Hey man, congratulations. Go (expletive) win it all, buddy,” Stafford said.

“Appreciate ya,” Goff replied.

After their first exchange, Goff had a bit more to say to Stafford. He found the Rams quarterback again and told him just how tough he is and the amount of respect he has for him.

Goff: “You’re one tough S.O.B., all right? I have so much respect for you. Keep going.”

Stafford: “I appreciate you, brother. Hey, good luck, man. You guys are balling. Keep it going.”

What an awesome exchange between two great guys.
