Mick Cronin speaks out on life in the Big Ten

It will be a big change going to the Big Ten.

Mick Cronin, the head basketball coach of the UCLA Bruins discussed their move into the Big Ten. Cronin is not afraid of the challenge and understands how big of a nightly grind it will be.

The head coach is starting his sixth season as the head coach in Westwood. Last season was the first time he was ever under .500 for the Bruins. Cronin is 115-53 overall and was 68-21 in Pac-12 games.

Before his time at UCLA, Cronin was the head coach at Murray State, and then he went to Cincinnati. He 480-224 as a head basketball coach.

Cronin had this to say when discussing the new move:

” The depth and talent of all these players in what’s now an 18-team league, it’s just going to make for really good basketball.”

Cronin was named the 14th head coach of UCLA Basketball. He replaced Steve Alford, who was fired.

When the Bruins start Big Ten play, they played all 17 other teams and beat 16 of them. Penn State is the only team UCLA has not beaten in Men’s Basketball, and they have lost the lone meeting.
