The Michigan-Nebraska game on Saturday didn’t exactly provide the most compelling competition of Week 11’s games, and that’s not a shock considering the No. 3 Wolverines are one of the best teams in the country while the Cornhuskers have just three wins on the season after losing, 34-3.
This Big Ten blowout, however, did produce one of the wildest plays we’ve seen this season, and there have been some really great options so far — including a couple others Saturday.
With a sizable 24-3 lead early in the fourth quarter at Michigan Stadium, Wolverines quarterback J.J. McCarthy connected with receiver Ronnie Bell on 2nd-and-6 for an easy first down. But Bell kept on pushing, breaking one tackle while barely staying in bounds.
Then he broke another and another and another as he fell into the end zone. Except he fumbled!
As Bell went down, the ball came out of his arms and bounced across the end zone. Luckily for him and Michigan, wide receiver Andrel Anthony landed on the ball and recovered it for a Wolverines touchdown.

But phewwww, that was absolute chaos once Bell hit the end zone. Just bonkers, a fumble touchdown. And that ball was so close to going out of bounds before Anthony grabbed it.
The play was reviewed, but the touchdown call on the field stood.
That wild score gave Michigan a 31-3 lead before ultimately getting the W and keeping its perfect season intact.
