The Oregon Ducks are breaking out a special set of uniforms on Friday night for their first Big Ten game inside Autzen Stadium against the Michigan State Spartans.
We now know that the Spartans are going to be holding up their end of the bargain with a clean set of uniforms as well.
Earlier this week, Michigan State revealed that they will be wearing an all-white set of jerseys for Friday night’s primetime matchup, which is a classic look on the road. With white helmets, white tops, and white pants, the Spartans’ look will coordinate nicely with the Ducks’ all-yellow theme in Week 6.
Veteran Oregon fans will remember that this uniform matchup looks similar to the combo worn between Ducks and Spartans back in 2014, when Oregon wore all-yellow with a chrome helmet, while Michigan State wore all-white with a green helmet.
If it isn’t broken, then why fix it, right?

Oregon’s uniforms this week hold more meaning than normal, designed by Dan Lanning’s wife, Sauphia, and her three kids in hopes of shedding like and bringing awareness to the fight against cancer.
