Michigan State has officially rescheduled the first of their four postponed Big Ten basketball games.
The Spartans announced on Tuesday that they’ve moved their home game vs. Nebraska from Feb. 3 to Feb. 6, and rescheduled their previously postponed game at Iowa to Feb. 2. The road trip to Iowa was originally scheduled for Jan. 14 but was postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests among the Spartans’ program — which was the first of four postponed games.

Michigan State currently has three games left to reschedule: Indiana (originally scheduled for Jan. 17), Illinois (originally scheduled for Jan. 23) and at Michigan (originally scheduled for Feb. 6). The Wolverines are in the middle of a COVID-related program shutdown for two weeks, which caused the postponement of that game on Feb. 6.
Here is the current Michigan State remaining schedule based on the latest changes:
- Jan. 28 โ at Rutgers (7 p.m. ET on FS1)
- Jan. 31 โ at Ohio State (1 p.m. ET on CBS)
- Feb. 2 โ at Iowa (TBD on FS1)
- Feb. 6 โ Nebraska (6:30 p.m. ET on BTN)
- Feb. 9 โ Penn State (TBD on ESPN)
- Feb. 13 โ Iowa (2:30 p.m. ET on FOX)
- Feb. 16 โ at Purdue (7 p.m. ET on ESPN2)
- Feb. 20 โ at Indiana (TBD on ESPN)
- Feb. 25 โ Ohio State (TBD on ESPN)
- Feb. 28 โ at Maryland (TBD on CBS)
- March 7 โ Michigan (TBD on CBS)
A few days ago I took a look at potential make-up dates for these rescheduled games, and with this adjustment, it appears the Spartans are more likely to reschedule each of the postponed games. You can take a look at that article by clicking below:
