Michigan State football has landed another highly-touted player through the transfer portal.
Chester Kimbrough — a former Florida Gators defensive back — is heading to Michigan State as the latest big-time transfer portal get for Mel Tucker and the Spartans. The news on Kimbrough coming to Michigan State came out late on Friday night.

Florida CB Chester Kimbrough in the NCAA portal announced on Instagram he plans to transfer to MSU. A former 3-star prospect from Louisiana who has three years of eligibility remaining after playing 8 games as a true freshman in 2019 and nine games this season as a sophomore.

Kimbrough is a former three-star recruit in the 2019 class from New Orleans. He had scholarship offers from numerous big-time programs out of high school, including Alabama, LSU, Texas, Georgia and Michigan.
Kimbrough appeared in 17 games in his two seasons with the Florida Gators, and has three years of eligibility, according to Chris Solari of The Detroit Free Press.
