Michigan State hockey drops game one to Boston College

No. 4 MSU drops game one to No. 2 BC on Friday night, game two on Saturday

Michigan State hockey welcomed in Boston College for a top four college hockey showdown. The No. 4 Spartans and the No. 2 Eagles have a two game series at Munn Ice Arena in East Lansing.

In game one, it was Boston College getting the better of MSU, shutting out the Spartans 3-0 in the game. All three BC goals came in the second period. Shots on goal were generally even, favoring the Eagles 29-24.

The two teams will square off in game two of the series on Saturday night at 6 p.m. inside of Munn.
