Michigan State football’s scouting department is definitely relentless, and they’ve made a habit since Mel Tucker arrived to get in early and often with different recruiting targets around the country.
That was true once again on Tuesday, when the Spartans offered a scholarship to DaMontre Patterson, a 2024 wide receiver from Elmore City, Oklahoma. MSU was the first Power-5 school to offer Patterson, and just the second Division I school to do so after Marshall.
Patterson is 5’10”, 140-pounds, and you can check out his highlights here.
