A new summer is here and official visit season is beginning to kick off the next cycle of high school football recruiting. While finishing the 2024 class, the 2025 recruiting cycle will be the first true recruiting class in the Jonathan Smith tenure in East Lansing.

The 2025 recruiting class will be a big piece to Smith’s puzzle in East Lansing, as it will lay the groundwork and the foundation for what he plans to build at Michigan State.

With the 2025 on the horizon, and the recruiting cycle getting ready to begin, let’s take the a look at the first batch of recruits that will be coming to campus for the first weekend of official visits (5/31-6/2):

Afalava is a 3-star offensive lineman from Lehl, Utah.

Zamorano is a 3-star defensive back from Corona, California.

Kaahaaina-Torres is a high 3-star offensive lineman from Honolulu, Hawaii.

In-state tight end Jayden Savoury, a native of Orchard Lake, will be on campus.

3-star Chicago, Illinois, defensive tackle Brad Fitzgibbon will be a top priority this weekend.

Newberry, Florida, defensive end Mykah Newton is a 3-star in the class.

Braylon Collier is a 3-star wide receiver from Sandusky, Ohio.

Denman is a 3-star running back from Palestine, Texas.
