It will be a little over a month before Michigan State football goes head-to-head with Ohio State, but it looks like they might start a little competition with their Big Ten rival ahead of time, but on the recruiting front. On Monday, the Spartans offered 2023 4-star linebacker Troy Bowles, who is currently projected to commit to the Buckeyes.
Bowles is the No. 1 ranked linebacker in his class by 247Sports and their No. 31 ranked player overall. He is from Tampa, Florida where he plays for Jesuit High School.
If Mel Tucker is able to pull him away from the Buckeyes, it would be a MAJOR coup for the Spartans.
