The ups and downs of modern college recruiting can often be dizzying these days, with commitments, de-commitments and transfers occurring more-and-more frequently. On Saturday, Michigan State football was on the wrong side of a de-commitment, with 2024 4-star defensive back Jamari Howard announcing that he is withdrawing his commitment from the Spartans.
Howard is the No. 75 ranked player in the 2024 class by 247Sports and their No. 8 ranked cornerback. 247Sports now has Florida seemingly in the lead for Howard’s recruitment. However, this doesn’t mean the Spartans are done here, as Howard will still be taking an official visit with MSU this summer, according to Stephen Brooks of 247Sports.
