Michigan State added major help to their defense when they picked up a commitment from Old Dominion linebacker transfer Wayne Matthews. Matthews comes to MSU with two years of eligibility left after spending two years at ODU.
Courtesy of On3, Matthews was shown to be the top transfer linebacker in one category heading into the 2024 season.
With 135 tackles, Matthews had recorded the most tackles last season by any linebacker that transferred this past offseason.
