Michigan State football lands commitment from All-MAC transfer wide receiver

The Spartans have landed an All-MAC wide receiver through the transfer portal

Michigan State football continues to rebuild their team, and specifically their wide receiver room that saw a mass exodus after the season. On Monday, the Spartans received a commitment from former Kent State star wide receiver Chrishon McCray to join MSU via the transfer portal.

McCray is the second wide receiver to join MSU through the portal, joining Omari Kelly, formerly of MTSU.

This was a pretty big move by the Spartans, as McCray was second team All-MAC last year for Kent State, scoring nine touchdowns on the year. He also caught 40 passes for 705 yards. It’ll be very interesting to see what he can do with a quarterback at the level of Aidan Chiles throwing him the ball.
