Last week, Michigan State football kicker Jonathan Kim helped the Spartans knock-off Maryland on the road with a game-winning field goal. This week, Kim will join the other five other Michigan State captains as the honorary captain of the week against Prairie View A&M.
MSU’s other five captains, who will remain captains throughout the season, are:
- QB Aidan Chiles
- RB Nathan Carter
- OL Tanner Miller
- LB Jordan Turner
- DL Maverick Hansen

Kim has been terrific for the Spartans ever since he transferred to the program from North Carolina looking to become a place kicker in addition to his highly respected role as a kickoff specialist.
