The final AP Poll rankings have just been released, officially concluding the 2021-22 college football season. The Spartans were under Mel Tucker’s direction in year two of his tenure and it was pretty successful. MSU finished the year 11-2 and earning a New Year’s Six bowl game victory in the Peach Bowl over Pittsburgh.
The Spartans are featured in the top ten of the AP Poll once again, finishing the year ranked at No. 9.

Other Big Ten finishers included Michigan at No. 3, Ohio State at No. 6 and Iowa at No. 23.
