Michigan State has made another splash in the transfer portal, this time landing Maliq Carr, a WR/TE from Purdue.
Carr is originally from Oak Park, Michigan, and played his high school ball at Oak Park High School. Carr was a 4-star recruit out of high school, ranked as the No. 126 recruit and 5th best tight end in the country according to 247Sports.

Another bonus for Michigan State athletics, Carr will be joining the basketball team as well. Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 235 pounds, Carr will be an explosive athlete for both the football and basketball programs.
It is unknown if the Spartan staff sees Carr as a wide receiver or tight end, but either way he will be a welcomed addition to the MSU offense.
